got cold called by the recruiter randomly through out work for the first 2 weeks. eventually called back and requested we communicate through email as I didn't appreciate getting cold called during work. We set up an initial time to speak and the recruiter spoke very highly of LinQuest which overall was an enjoyable experience. Very friendly and absolutely loved work. It was purely behavioral and he mentioned the next step would be a final interview. After this was over, he randomly cold called me during work again to try to discuss next steps which I thought was weird since i gave him my email and explained i don't appreciate cold calling. Since I was busy at work, I forgot to call him back, and then his manager proceeded to cold call me. I don't understand what company cold calls like this: finding a new job whilst currently employed is all about secrecy, can't discuss job opportunities out in the open whilst at work.... I asked her to email me and we setup the final interview.
The final interview was with a team: the manager and 3 individual employees. The manager had a very hard time speaking about LinQuest and could not answer most of my standard basic questions about continuous integration, etc. He also explained unit testing was not a practice at LinQuest. It was again very odd that we had no coding questions together here, but the fact that unit testing isn't a practice here, continuous integration wasn't a thing, and seemed very confused when asking about package managers.
I'm not really aware of anyone other than LinQuest that uses SharePoint, but I knew it wasn't a good fit after the manager was started speaking for the first 5 minutes. Overall, it was a very awkward conversation, and as soon as we ended the interview, I emailed my recruiter that I'd like to remove myself from consideration.
LinQuest is not a place to grow as a tech professional. This is a place you want to be at if you only care about money. Always be wary of a company that likes to cold call you.
