Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Litmus em set. de 2024
Entrevista
Phone screen followed by half-hour technical discussion video conference. Terminal step was a take-home coding exercise. My submission was rejected because I did not do more than the task requirements and stayed in the time frame allotted to complete the task.
Tip: spend as much time as you want on the task. No one is checking and you will be rewarded for it.
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Litmus.
Entrevista
Introductory conversation with hiring manager, take home project, follow up code review question/answer session with several members of the engineering team, conversation with the CTO, conversation with member of team I'd be joining. All of this was done over video chat and coordinated by the hiring manager. The whole process from application to offer was 1 month.
I appreciated that questions seemed relevant to the job at hand and were posed in a conversational way. This was not one of those interviewing experiences where they ask a bunch of quiz-like / academic technical questions or want you to prove you can solve algorithm-based coding problems that have little to do with the challenges that software engineers face in real life. The impression I got is that they were just as interested in how well you were able to explain the technical choices you made, as they were the choices themselves.
All in all, interviewing at Litmus was a very equitable, friendly, informative, and positive process.
