      Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela LiveRamp em mar. de 2023

      Entrevista

      I applied online and received an invite to interview about 4 weeks later. The recruiting coordinator was very helpful and setting the interview time was easy. The interview was very pleasant: the conversation was fun and engaging; the recruiter spoke in glowing terms about how my background was a great fit for the role, and told me that she would be recommending me to move on to interview with the hiring manager. In fact, she mentioned several times during the conversation that the hiring manager and I "would get along really well."  The interview was on a Tuesday. The recruiter intended to speak with the hiring manager that Friday, and said that I would hear about next steps by the following Monday. I heard nothing until the following Thursday, when I reached out to the recruiter to inquire about the status of my interview. The recruiter then told me that they had already identified a finalist for the role and would not be moving forward with my candidacy. When I asked for feedback as to why I was not selected, I was ghosted. No response from the recruiter. While I am disappointed that I was not selected to interview further, I am more disappointed in the way the recruiter handled this situation. To inform a candidate that they will be moving to the next stage in the process, and then fail to inform them when that decision is changed, is highly unprofessional and makes for a poor candidate experience . It is also unprofessional to ignore a candidate's request for honest feedback. Finally, it is extremely unprofessional to openly gush to a candidate about what a great fit they'd be and how they'd have rapport with the hiring manager, then decline to move them forward. LiveRamp seems like a great company to work for, but their recruiters could stand to have some development regarding how they communicate with candidates and manage the candidate experience.
