A call with SRE manager from USA has been scheduled for 5:30 PM local time. It was hour long call which is like a certification exam rather than assessing my skills and capabilities. The interviewer was looking for a particular answer/ keyword. It was topic after topic from a list of question read from a screen. The conversation didn't feel warm and open. Very little introduction or detail on the role itself. Didn't leave much time or opportunity for me to get to know the role or organisation. We ran over by 10 mins and I only had a minute to ask questions and the call ended abruptly.
