Initial 15 minute call to touch base. I was first asked to introduce myself, followed by a few questions. Overall, it was a pleasant and engaging conversation with the manager

--Overall Interview Process: 1. Screening call with HR, 2.Technical interview with the hiring manager, 3.Take-home assignment plus a role-play exercise to assess customer relationship and sales skills. 4.Final “high-level” interview with the CRO to check cultural fit and finalize details.--The process itself was fairly smooth and organized. Everyone I spoke with was professional, and communication throughout was clear enough.--Reason for my negative experience: the true disappointment came with the rejection feedback. After a month of interviews and five separate rounds (including a detailed sales role play and in-depth discussions with the head of sales strategy) being told I wasn’t “sales-y enough” felt like a lazy excuse--.If that was such a critical requirement, it should’ve been obvious from the start. Being ruled out for something they could have identified early on is frustrating when so much time and effort has been invested. A little more clarity and respect for candidates’ time would go a long way.
