In-person interview followed by take home case study that I needed to complete within around 1 week. There were also some business related questions during the original interview. That's about all I can recall for now ...

Was really excited to be shortlisted for an initial discussion with the team. Similar to big hotel chains such as Fairmont, Swissotel, they made you complete a lengthy online assessment to check your suitability. Understood some of my response may not be what the interviewing manager was looking for, had to 're-do' some questions. Not sure why but shouldn't a face to face chat and presentation of my past and present credentials counts? Moving forward, met the head of the property, had a fruitful, and grilling discussion. After the interview, completely ghosted with no courtesy of informing me that they are not moving forward. Only thru a recent met up with an industry contact, they hired someone for the head office to oversee this property. I have heard feedback from people that they simply ghost you after an interview. Do you need a response do matter to the candidate?
