Entrevista
I applied for this position almost as soon as it opened in September 2015. A day later, I was emailed a prescreen form to fill out and after that, I received an email for a possible disability accommodation request. A few days later, I was asked to complete a formal application on their website and was invited for an onsite interview. I was able to choose from three different time slots for the in-person interview and there was no preceding phone interview or interaction. When I arrived for the interview which was scheduled a week later, I was asked to show my ID and sign in. The interview was a panel with three employees who did most of the talking and only momentarily stopped to ask me a question and take brief notes, which made me feel a little more comfortable. Almost no technical questions were asked, although they did ask a few behavioral questions. The interview was fairly informal and relaxed, which I appreciate. I remember when I asked them what they enjoyed to most about their jobs near the end of the interview, one of them said that she enjoyed the work life balance and multiple opportunities to take time off. At the end of the interview, I asked when I could expect a response and I was informed that they still had other interviews scheduled and that it might take a few weeks. After no response for over four weeks, I called one of the people I interviewed with and was told that the position had been filled.
