The interview process here is pretty seamless - Locus Analytics is one of those companies that actually gets back to you and is extremely formal in managing the interview process.
I first applied by submitting my information online (on a recommendation from a friend within the company). I was contacted about a week later in order to schedule a first round interview, which consists of a phone call. They will select an interview time and then invite you via email to the event, so prepare to have an open enough schedule to take a call! The woman who spoke with me was really lovely, and it was a basic, conversational, biographical interview.
I was selected to participate in the next round of interviews, which consisted of a Skype interview with two other individuals from the office. Once again, the conversation was similar to the phone call - more biographical information about your resume, more explaining the position, and then a few questions to learn more about you. Questions included "what would you do if you could spend the time and the money that went to college on something entirely different?", "what was your favorite class in college and for what reasons would you recommend it to a friend?", and "what is your favorite book and why?"
Overall, the individuals were really lovely and easy to talk to. The only questionable element is the fact that the individuals conducting the interviews are actually current analysts (likely a year into their contract). While it means they really can give accurate insights about the job, it also means they are not formal hiring managers who are trained to conduct interviews and assess the content of the conversations. Needless to say, the interviews are quite scripted (literally. there's a script.)
All in all, an easy interview process at the beginning.
