Cold, sterile, robotic. Interviewer was late to the appointment. Seemed like he was "riding the high" of being tasked with staffing a new property. Or riding the high that comes with kicking all the previous employees to the curb. Either way, it wasn't a positive experience.

Entrevista
Applied online and received a call within a few days to setup. I arrived and waited about 15 minutes for the interviewer. A woman came out and we began the standard "tell me about yourself" conversation. About 5 minutes go by and the woman I was supposed to be meeting with came to the conversation and the original interviewer left. I asked if I knew who the the original interviewer told me who she was, and it turns out it was a lateral-level colleague of the position because the interviewer was running behind. We were all wearing masks, so I chalked the intro's up to possibly mishearing what transpired.
Interviewed for about 45-minutes. Went really well. Interviewer told me I was over qualified but knew of a position opening up that I'd be perfect for. Said a recruiter would call me. Never heard a word. Never got a response to my follow-up call. Logged into the Applicant Portal four-weeks later and it said my interview process was complete. Never even got a rejection email. I understand a vague "thanks for meeting with me" exit to an interview. But don't mislead me thinking that I'm over qualified and you're going to have a recruiter call me about a better opportunity and then not even give the courtesy of letting me know what's going on. I was really excited about it too because I trusted the leadership I met with and could've seen myself working with them.
