Interview Experience: The recruitment process consisted of three stages:
Stage 1 – Application:
A detailed and time-consuming application form requiring significant input at the initial stage.
Stage 2 – Assessment task:
Candidates were given a complex task with a 48-hour turnaround. This was only communicated on the day, with no prior indication earlier in the process. The level of detail required felt substantial, particularly for a non-senior role.
Stage 3 – Interview:
A final interview stage was outlined for candidates who successfully passed the assessment.
While timelines between stages were communicated, the combination of a lengthy application and a high-effort task at an early stage felt disproportionate. Advance notice of assessment requirements would allow candidates to better plan and make informed decisions about continuing in the process.
Outcome: Unsuccessful following task submission.
