This interview was negative from the offset. The two interviewers did not put me at ease, they did not 'break the ice' on arrival. Neither asked me to tell them a little about myself before questioning. Neither of them told me their stake in the business, how long they'd been there or if it was a good place to work. The questions were not competency based, I was hit with 13 direct questions. Questions that did not ascertain if I had the experience or skills to perform the role but questions related directly to how much you knew about the advertised role. I was more than qualified to perform the role, my skills were transferable and it was a junior role. I believe I did not fit as they were looking to post a female to this role, I could read they wanted 'mirror' recruitment, post people like themselves. And they had the cheek to ask me if I understood diversity!

Interview was awful. The questions asked were over complicated for the position on offer and there was and hour of questioning. The salary advertised is the highest point of the grade after a person of time with the company. So not a starting salary. Not a company I would want to work for. Didn’t seem interested in me at all and spoke about their staff aswork horses not real people.
