Recruiter was late to the first call, but it went alright. Was mainly asked management questions, seemed like a company with money for a head count but with no real plan for the roles. Was told I was moving on to the next step, and should prepare a project to share from my past work. I chose one that involved a lot of mgmt decisions as this is how the recruiter framed the role, but it went terribly. The product person on the call seemed really disinterested and confused why I was sharing the project that I chose. He seemed to have an entirely different idea of the role, but it was still ambiguous.
After that, they ghosted me cold. Seems like an immature company with issues. Certainly don’t know how to hire or treat people like humans. Maybe they will read this and improve.
