I have applied more than once at Loyola. Each time I was asked to commit to a lengthy interview process of over 6 hours. One role I applied for asked me to shadow a nurse for an entire shift and buy a lab coat to wear, which I did. I was offered the job the second time, but a few days later they called me with some BS about management restructuring the role and it no longer being available. It was very disrespectful. If they were no longer interested in my after making an offer, they could at least of had some respect for me as a human being and told me the true. An honest reason why I was no longer being offered the job would have been helpful, but to be lied to after being given an offer was so disrespectful to me as a person, my time, and as a professional. Does not say much about their ethics, and this coming from a catholic hospital at that. Truly very bad and ultimately I’m glad I will not be part of a company that treats people this way. Also, their offer for the amount of work related to the role was ridiculously low. So disappointing. I will not be applying with that organization again.
