The interview process was almost a 2month process with over 9 one to one technical sessions. After the last session, there was absolutely no correspondence which showed lack of professionalism. Too many follow ups needed in each step which was too draining and really showed need for the organization to set its priorities straight on hiring experienced talent. A total waste of time for both the applicant and all the interviewers.

A horrible process to be honest. They changed the interview date three times and the original recruiter was unavailable the week of the interview. Interview was with a very stern Indian gentleman who didn’t express any personality. I hear that Lucid Motors is race-cliquey, if you work in Silicon Valley you know exactly what I mean. It was as uncomfortable a conversation as I have had in my life and I left the phone call not even sure I wanted to join Lucid (he didn’t do face to face on the Zoom call and was 5 minutes late). The fact the recruiter ghosted me allowed me to accept the other offer on the table and thankfully prevented me from working there.
