Entrevista
My interview process began with a telephonic conversation with the HR representative, where we discussed the role, my background, and the overall fit for the position. This was followed by two technical interviews, each lasting 45 minutes, conducted by the managers. During these interviews, we delved into technical aspects related to the role, and I had the opportunity to demonstrate my expertise and problem-solving abilities while also learning more about the team's expectations and the challenges they face.

Standard procedure of a few interviews before a panel interview (HR, manager(s), coding, panel) except that there was no homogeneity in the difficulty of the interviews. I haven't had an experience thus far where there was such a discrepancy between the first few interviews and the final round, to the extent that it makes me wonder what Lucid has in mind when its technical interviews go from quite basic in one stage to suddenly much more difficult. I'd think you'd look to have a more consistent effort in testing a potential applicant *before* offering them a final interview, but alas I'm not a recruiter nor am I a hiring manager. Didn't seem to me as though all the engineers involved in the whole process were under mutual understanding of my level of experience (recent college grad) and what I was expected to bring to the table, and thus what kind of questions to prepare before the interviews.
