Received email from a recruiter 10 days later inviting me to submit availability for screening call.
Submitted availability.
Had screening call.
Recruiter felt I was a good fit and my resume was sent to hiring manager. Manager reviewed it and elected to interview me.
Submitted availability.
Had 30 minute interview via Zoom, discussing the nuts and bolts of the role and my experience.
Later that day after the interview, the recruiter reached back out to me and indicated the manager liked me and recommended me to move forward to next stage (Zoom calls with five interviewers of various levels and positions relative to the role I had applied to, at 45 minutes each.).
Submitted availability. A few days I received the invites confirming the 5 interview times, which all fell in a single afternoon with small breaks in-between.
The recruiter reached out to set up time to "prep" me for the interview. We prepped several days later, a few days before the interview date. The prep consisted of helpful information on each interviewer and tips on their individual styles and expectations.
On interview day, I hopped on a single Zoom call and stayed logged-in across a 5 hour period, taking interviews in a series. Both in the initial manager interview, and in one of the panel interviews, the interviewer asked me to use the whiteboard feature of Zoom to sketch out a design and timeline. (If you have a drawing table connected to your PC you can use, that'll help!)
Two days post interview, recruiter reached out for a quick conversation and indicated they wanted to make an offer. Their style is to obtain a pre-agreement with the candidate on the numbers they'd accept, then go get executive approval of the offer (or as close as possible), and come back for your formal acceptance.
All in all the process was very smooth and professional. The recruiter was extremely helpful, professional, and kind to deal with. I can't say enough positive about her. All the interviewers were transparent and easy to communicate with as well. I declined the offer for personal/family reasons, the recruiter was really helpful nevertheless.
