It was good , very streamlined and efficient
Everything was very clearly communicated from start of the process until the interview and feedback
enough details were provided on the interviews, interviewee as it relates to the role
I don’t post many Glassdoor review or interviews, but this one I couldn’t stop myself. Hopefully this information will help make the decision on applying and working here. This was a terrible and very unprofessional experience.
The first person you speak with is the CRO - Scott Sperling. Second interview is with the CEO Adit Gupta. The following interviews would be with members of the team.
My interview with Scott went fine. The interview with Adit, shows the type of person he is. Below highlights one of his questions and his character behind that question.
What do you value most from these three areas:
1. Wealth
2. Power
3. Meaningful Impact on world
What an odd question in general to ask. I actually asked it back to the CEO (Adit) and he was reluctant to answer it. He barely answered it by saying POWER. Like dude, you can ask this question, but I can’t?
I also asked the CEO - “what are the major hurdles your company faces?” He literally answered by saying, “None” and that his business is booming. A 2020 startup with zero hurdles? Like come on man, at least answer this with some humility. Everyone has something they need to improve on.
Towards the end of the the call with Adit, he said he will have Scott setup the next interview. I was then sent an email back 15 min later that they were going to pursue other folks. This proves Adit is a liar too.
The CEO is very arrogant and has some extreme
narcissistic qualities. He yearns for power and control. If you’re looking for a company that cares about your mental health, this will not be the one to choose. The CEO has qualities that will burn and churn talent quickly. He will eventually lose control over everything.
Things I learned about Adit (THE CEO)
1. He is a liar
2. He is narcissistic
3. He only cares about power
4. He thinks his business is perfect
I hope this helps you decide where to apply next.
