It was a Hackathon based process(1st ever) hosted by Lumen to find candidates across India It had 3 rounds R1)Pre hack (28 moderate level Mcqs) After a few days i recieved a mail saying the next process will be a Hackathon and we were given sufficient time between both rounds Before the hackathon started we had a little quiz round as an ice breaker event and warm us up R2)Hackathon ( We were provided with a problem statement and we were divided into teams of 8 randomly .We were given 5 hours to come up with a prototype of our solution and were provided a mentor throughout the process for our guidance .Our prototype was then reviewed by both our mentor and 3 panelist judges from the company itself) The hackathon was a day long event which continued for 12 hours Interview selects were based on individual performance from each group I recieved a call from HR informing me that ive made through the hackathon process and will be having an interview next day (i was delighted :⁠-⁠)) R3)interview I joined the interview call 5 mins early than the given time .General questions were asked regarding the solution we came up with for the problem statement , i answered them all , a few questions regarding some trending technologies like chatgpt etc were also a part and finally some common questions from C++(any language i was comfortable in) ,Oops - virtual base class , polymorphism etc and some questions related to SQL and database (schema attributes used in ur solution etc)

The interview was very good and the hackathon process was so exciting. The mentors and hr were very friendly . Rather than a round for job it felt like a clean discussion on my sole talents and the job requirements.
