I recently interviewed for the Procurement Specialist role at LumiraDx and wanted to share my experience. While I appreciated the company's mission and was excited about the opportunity, I found the interview process a bit disappointing. The interview lasted 30 minutes and felt very generalized, with only three questions asked. I had prepared extensively and was expecting a more technical discussion, given the nature of the role. Unfortunately, the panel did not clarify the level of detail they were seeking, which left me feeling that I wasn’t given the opportunity to showcase my full potential. Additionally, during the process, I was informed that the interview was a "professional casual interaction" and that a more detailed, in-person interview would follow. However, the decision not to proceed with my application was communicated shortly after, without any further rounds. This inconsistency in the process raised doubts about the overall hiring approach. While my personal experience was not as positive as I had hoped, I still believe that LumiraDx is a forward-thinking organization, and I encourage future candidates to seek clarification early on regarding the level of technical detail expected during interviews.
