      Spoke to recruiter who was very brief and short, as he didn’t have time to speak with my entirely. Lowballed me and was not negotiable on salary (red flag). The recruiter was very transparent and provided all necessary details for our phone call (like time and area code he would call from etc ). He immediately decided to schedule a technical interview (next step) but handed it off to another guy in HR. The Hr guy setup a technical interview. During that process, he was rather rude, and said he had called me several times (on a Friday?) but I never saw any missed calls from him. He seemed to be in a hurry and was very accusing, pretty much rude. I explained that I was very busy with a baby and my current job as lead developer on my team. I explained I needed some “heads up” so I can have some time to open up my schedule as I have been super busy lately. I went along with his ideas and that 2nd interview was ultimately a no show. Nobody came into the meeting room call (MS Teams). I sent an email afterwards letting him know, which he apologized for the accident. The 2nd interview was rescheduled and the same HR guy confusingly sent out two meeting invites, one for Friday and one for Monday. I joined the Friday meeting thinking I had an interview lined up but nope. Another “no show”. Nobody came onto the call. I reached out immediately and heard nothing back until the next week (Monday) saying it was rescheduled again. Overall this was a giant waste of time and very confusing. I will not interview here anymore. If this is a sign of the company, this is not good. Get your stuff together and do better.

      An easy coding exercise at the beginning followed by a bunch of mostly theoretical questions from the programming language, frameworks, databases, concepts like microservices. Unfortunately the interviewer was from another project and couldn't answer my questions about the role.

      Entrevista

      The interview was for a contract role opportunity. It consisted of 3 rounds, one technical screening (45 mins), one managerial (30 mins) and one client round onsite (45 mins). Questions were based on Java, Python, SQL, Design Patterns, Microservices, AWS and one coding question. I cleared all the rounds but didn't get selected because of tough competition between me and the other candidate. The screening interviewer was quite friendly and tried to greet me in my language. The interviewers for client round were also friendly throughout the process and also dropped me back to the elevator area.

      Second round was managerial. Standard HR questions were asked. Tell me about yourself, what is sdlc and give an end-to-end example, how will you ramp yourself up in the first month, how did you deal with challenging scenarios.

      Third round was client round onsite. There were two interviewers who took me to the conference room. One guy told me to write code in SQL to find duplicates in a table and then write the same code in Java, then he asked me if I worked with microservices before and I said yes. The other guy asked me what was my project about, how I implemented security in it, what was the code coverage, did I work for production level issues.
