I was surprised not to see the "Growth Marketing Manager" role on Glassdoor previously so I thought I would contribute a review.
Within about a week of applying online, I received an email from the recruiting team to coordinate a phone interview with the hiring manager (i.e. no HR phone screens). I spoke with her two days after that, and she asked me a mix of situation work questions and work-related questions from my past experience -- no behavioral to be had. I thought it was strange she asked me to repeat my answers to some questions, like she didn't believe I was answering truthfully the first time. I almost wanted to withdraw my application after that, but I kept on.
A week later, I was requested to have a second phone conversation with the hiring manager's boss. The call was supposed to be a half-hour, but she joined 10 minutes late and cut the call short 5 minutes before the scheduled end time. She took issue with some short tenures at positions on my resume and also candidly told me that they were looking for someone with a few more years of experience.
I was not surprised to have gotten dinged the following week, but I wonder why they even wanted to interview me in the first place if I didn't meet their qualifications. The nice part of the rejection was that I received a personal email from the talent acquisition team and not one of the form responses, and I appreciated that.
