The interview process was terrible, in my opinion. I was contacted by email and scheduled a time with a recruiter. The recruiter called me about 10 mins late, no big deal, BUT my wife also interviewed with Lyft in the past and she was rescheduled multiple times (due to the recruiter) as well. So don't be surprised if you are rescheduled or if you're recruiter isn't organized. My actual phone call with the recruiter was really unpleasant. From the beginning, she did not sound interested or caring about talking to me. It was almost as if she just needed to speak to get me off her list. When your job is a recruiter, you should be warm and inviting and create excitement for the position and company. It was so awkward at times and obvious that she did not care. I couldn't wait to be done. It was so disappointing because the company itself appears great but this particular person does not embody what the company preaches. I am glad I dodged a bullet and wish the company best, but how can they expect to attract talent with terrible recruiting? Their loss. Got a response that I wouldn't be moving on but at the end of the call she said next step would be a presentation to the market manager. Just to clarify my response isn't negative because I didn't move on. I don't think I would have accepted simply because of this recruiter and feeling she left me with.
