Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Lyra Health.
Entrevista
Interview process was six steps:
1. Recruiter
2. Hiring manager
3. Case study presentation to a panel of five people
4. Engineering partner
5. Product partner
6. VP
I checked nearly/all of the boxes on the job description and had very positive feedback during the process; to the point that I was taken through to the very end only to be told that there was no negative feedback on me, but that they weren't going to hire anyone they'd been interviewing and would be holding out for the "perfect candidate" in this market. I should note that my recruiter was very nice and also struggling to understand what had happened because he had heard nothing negative about me.
While I can accept that I may not be the best fit for a role, if there were doubts then this should have been determined well before a full six rounds of interviews (which took 5-6 weeks) that included an hour long panel presentation and lots of prep work and energy. I also believe that if I did well enough to make to through the final round, giving me feedback would have been not only the respectful thing to do after such a long and tedious journey, but would have been helpful to me as a job seeker.
Phone screen, hiring manager call, designer interview, live case study with PMs, engineering call and then wrap with hiring manager. Overall pretty standard and no homework assignments. Interviews are remote.
