My interview process started with a phone interview with a recruiter, followed by a virtual interview with the hiring manager. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it to the next round, which would have been an in-person.

Interview Date: May 2024 Overall Experience: Positive Application Process: I got a call from HR regarding the opening and she asked about my availability and interests Interview Stages: Phone Screen: The phone screen lasted about 10 minutes. The recruiter asked about my background and my experience with certain technologies listed in my resume. The recruiter was very friendly and gave me a good overview of the company culture and the next steps in the interview process. Onsite Technical Interview: I was invited to the onsite interview at their Bangalore Church Street Office. It consisted of two back-to-back interview sessions, first one lasting about an hour and next about 20mins. Coding Interview 1: Focused on algorithms and data structures. I was asked to solve a problem related to basic algorithms, my previous experience, my projects, and queries on SQL and more. Behavioral Interview: This was more relaxed and conversational. The interviewer asked about my past projects, challenges, and how I handled them. They also inquired about my experiences working in a team, dealing with conflicts, and my motivation for applying to Lytx Company. Feedback and Offer: A week after the onsite interview, I received a call from the recruiter with positive feedback and an offer for the SDE role. The offer included a competitive salary and benefits. They also provided details on the team I would be joining and the projects I would be working on. Interview Tips: Prepare well for coding interviews by practicing problems on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank. Review system design concepts and be ready to discuss scalable architecture. Be honest and clear in behavioral interviews, using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your responses. Research the company and its culture to show genuine interest and enthusiasm. Overall Impression: My interview experience with Lytx, Inc. Company was very positive. The process was well-organized, and everyone I interacted with was professional and friendly. The interviews were challenging but fair, and I felt well-supported throughout the process.
