I applied for this job less than three weeks ago and will be starting my first day less than two weeks from now. This has been one of the better interview processes I've gone through and I would've said the same had I not gotten the offer.
The Sr. Sales Recruiter contacted me within a few days of applying and was very responsive and informative from the start. Most of the initial questions I had regarding what to expect from this interview process, job responsibilities, etc were answered before I could ask them. I could feel that she was genuinely rooting for me and her encouragement helped raise my confidence going in. The questions asked in this initial interview were about previous employment history. I could tell they spent time reviewing my resume prior to the interviews which was reassuring.
The second interview was with the VP of sales development. Right away they expressed their desire for “a good conversation” over anything else and the whole interview felt relaxed. I learned a lot about the company culture, what they were looking for in a candidate, and the management style to be expected. I had ample time to ask questions and talk about myself throughout.
The third and final interview was with two senior managers of sales dev. They were both very nice and like before, it felt more about getting to know each other than going down a list of questions looking for specific answers. I was asked some interesting questions as well which were fun to discuss further.
The screening and onboarding processes are as exciting as you’d expect. Very standard to other companies from what I imagine and I’ve been contacted by more new (to me) employees over the past week for assistance and verification.
Overall the process was very smooth and went extremely well.
