Mostly interacted with a third party recruitment agency. By and large the process was smooth. Two rounds of technology, the interviewers appeared disconnected with regards to the process and approach. Final round with a executive who gave the impression that the emphasis was more on to find out how submissive and docile the interviewee was rather than the tech. It appeared they did not want a free thinking and technically strong candidate rather someone who would be a yes man. The interview ended abruptly with the usual fake niceties. I had decided that this was not worth pursuing any more and had raised some serious red flags on the company culture. A proper feedback email also wasn’t in the culture of the organisation, a half hearted WhatsApp message from the third party recruiter agency was the last nail in the coffin. I shared the feedback with my friends and colleagues who were in the market looking and were considering this company. The whole recruitment process is an indicator of the culture of the company is something this company needs to understand. In a competitive market like Bangalore providing a pleasant and positive experience is all the more important!!
