Very smooth for the initial interview - visited their site and had an aptitude test of mechanical and electrical engineering related questions, as well as a discussion of my CV.

2 stage process - Technical interview and assessment centre. Technical interview was very detailed and asked a lot of electro-mechanical questions. Assessment stage was good. Consisted of a presentation and 2 group building activities and a site tour. The main area of concern was that despite being “inclusive” and of “equal opportunities” I did not see a single coloured person on the site tour (I saw at least 40 employees). There was only 1 female member of staff too. That gave me the wrong impression of inclusivity and diversity. The type of Engineers they were hiring were very clear from that site tour.
