I applied for "Expert Software Engineer for Information Architecture", I had first a nice chat with a recruiter, then an offline coding challenge, technical interview and a final interview with a team lead and Scrum Master. During the technical interview, I met with 2 employees. One focused on Open ended questions, way of thinking, how to approach a problem. The other asked more closed-ended questions and the questions sometimes felt a bit templated and some questions focused more on memory recall rather than understanding. I also had a Speed system design interview in the same interview. I was left alone for the 10 minutes, so it wasn't an engaging interview. I wasn't sure about the expectation of this stage and whether it's about the quality of a design or how fast I can do it. Also, I was asked to keep it as high level as possible to be understood by non-tech persons. In general, apart from the recruiter and the Scrum Master, the employees I met came across as quite pretentious and raised several red flags.
