after applying on indeed, they invited me directly to interview in person. after arriving, they sat me down in a conference room setup with a screen setup to answer technical questions. they gave you a keyboard and mouse, a copy of the job posting and told you to start typing I guess. They sat me in there and left me alone for 20 minutes. there was a camera watching you as well to prevent cheating. There were about 20 questions I think testing various aspects of IT skills, from asking about VLANs to how would you troubleshoot certain issues. I was unable to answer all of them, but they seemed okay with this as I answered the majority correctly. after the allotted time, of which i didn't know how much I had, they came back and went over my answers, pretty much confirming them all correct. Once this was complete, they discussed their company, what they do, one big point was that trips to the U.S. for weeks at a time were very common. I think this was pretty cool. after that discussion, the boss, and his buddy gave me "broken" laptop to fix, I guess another type of skill testing question. it turned out to be a broken battery, where I removed the battery and plugged it directly into the outlet. they seemed to be very impressed with this. the interview ended not long after that. I had no follow-up until I was offered 35k a week later, I received an offer elsewhere for significantly more than that so I declined In all I actually quite enjoyed this interview, there were no stupid hr questions, this was an all-technical interview
