Two phone interviews and a three-hour, on site interview process of three separate interviews. The interviews were very last minute, with being told the night before and never getting the promised confirmation to be at the on site interview.

I had 6 rounds of interviews including the phone screen. The first was the initial phone screen where the recruiter talked about the role and potential fit, one was with the hiring manager, 3 were with current employees, one was with the director of data analytics, and my last one was unique because I was actually selected by a different hiring manager who met with me to verify my start date and answer any questions I had. MX has identified what they believe to be the top 5 most important qualities in a data analyst, and so they tell you the quality and then ask you a behavioral question to demonstrate it. They usually have two potential questions for each quality, so don't be afraid to ask for the backup. Their technical interview was more like a pop quiz then a homework assignment (which personally I don't think is as effective). They asked me questions about SQL and Python, and luckily I had studied a lot beforehand, but most of them are conceptual rather than application. Communication wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either. The recruiter was really nice but couldn't give me any tips or suggestions on how to prepare because she didn't know either, so I really had no idea what to expect before most of my interviews.
