A few days after the application, I got an invitation to the first interview, which they said was about clarifying mutual expectations or something like that, but it ended up being a screening interview. 2 interviewers, one of them was clearly a junior data scientist who didn't ask important questions. The other person was a more senior member in the team who was late to the interview (not a great first impression for the candidate). They did some screening and discussed my tech stack. They also asked about motivations and things like that. And some questions about communication with technical and non-technical clients. The interview was scheduled to be 45 minutes, but we ended up talking more than 1 hour. It was mostly positive from my point of view, and I was expecting invitations to more interviews based on their feedback, but they just ghosted me. They didn't even reply after I emailed them to ask about status of my application.
