Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela Macy's (City of Industry, CA) em ago. de 2011
Entrevista
I applied online for the "sales associate" position at my local Macy's, I was then emailed (a few day later) to schedule an interview via online (on their site, only on their avail. days). I went in on the day & time of the interview, was told to wait until I was called up (btw, there were 2 other people there to interview also). The lady, who was going to interview us, called us into her office and had a group interview (whoever was ready to answer first, did so, etc.). Once the interview(s) was/were done, she went outside to check if there were any available positions, unfortunately, there weren't. She then let us know that she will hold on to our applications for 6 months and also mentioned that "things" change at the store (all the time) and an open position could come up in a week or a month or whenever. That's it. ;D

Why Macy's? [or pretty much everything mentioned on this site, they ask, at least 6 or so questions are asked during the interview, I suggest you answer the q.'s on this site...just to get an idea of what you are going to say]
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.

The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
