Candidatei-me de outra forma. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Maker's Row em jun. de 2015
Entrevista
I was contacted by one of the cofounders via linked in regarding the position. I was told to email another staff member directly if I was interested in applying for the position. Upon further research, Maker's Row seemed like a really cool and exciting place to work. I contacted the staff member and scheduled a Skype interview for a Friday. The interviewer never signed on and when I reached out, I was met with an apology and we spoke breifly over the phone. I was invited to come into the office to meet with a few staff members and the cofounders the following Monday. I went in on Monday and had a really great conversation with one of their team members. Unfortuanately, the cofounders were busy and I was asked if I could come in later that day around 6pm or the following. I chose the former. I met with one of the cofounders who seemed pretty nice and was told I would get a take home project. I recieved it about a week and a half later and was given two days to complete it. The project itself was very thorough and time consuming. I really liked Maker's Row so I wanted to make a great impression. I worked on it two nights straight and was really happy when I was invited in to meet with the cofounders to discuss my work. I gave them my availability for the week and was met with radio silence. When I reached back out to inquire, I was told that the team met and were going into a different direction with the role. I thought that was something that should have been discussed prior to me being invited back in - or prior to me completing and submitting a project with my ideas. It was a huge let down. That being said, Maker's Row is doing some innovative work and I wish them well.
