1. Application Screening
HR Team screens your resume and checks if you meet the basic criteria (experience in pharma procurement, CAPEX project management, vendor management, GMP knowledge, etc.).
If you meet the profile, they schedule the first round.
2. Technical Interview – Round 1 (Procurement + Technical Skills)
Conducted by Senior Manager / GM – Purchase or Engineering Head.
Focus areas:
Your procurement process knowledge (CAPEX/Indirect purchase experience).
Category Management skills.
Knowledge of Injectable manufacturing equipment (filling machines, autoclaves, lyophilizers, isolators, HVAC systems).
Vendor development, cost negotiations, technical evaluation of vendors.
Documentation (PO, contracts, cost sheets, comparative statements).
Basic understanding of utilities (Water System, HVAC, Compressed Air) needed for injectable plants.
Managerial / HR Interview
Conducted by HR and sometimes a Procurement Director / Head.
Focus areas:
Your leadership skills, team handling, and communication style.
Salary negotiation.
Joining timeline discussion.
Cultural fit with the organization.
