The interview was mostly standard questions and a portfolio review. The owner and senior designer join the interview. The owner is very condescending and does not understand interior design as a whole. What they are actually looking for, does not fit the job description. It also seems like a fairly easy role, but they don’t see it that way. It seems like the company thinks their work is more complicated than it truly is. They have been looking to hire for over six months, have over 250 applications for each posting, refresh the posts constantly, and no one has been hired... that should tell you everything you need to know about this firm.
