I had a recruiter interview, an interview with a manager (not the hiring manager), and an aptitude test and personality assessment. The aptitude and personality assessment was administered through a company called Wonderlic and consisted of a 12-minute verbal and math assessment with 50 questions and a section of 200 questions asking about your personality and motivations. I got screened out after the personality assessment.

I was reached out to by their Director of Talent Management and had a 20 minute chat with her. Afterwards, I had an hour long interview. The first half was a behavioral interview with a team member, and the second half was a Wonderlic assessment. The interviews were fine, however, the Wonderlic determined that I wasn't inclined towards analytical roles, despite me have extensive experience in and actively looking for analytical roles. This interview was for an analytics position, and to no surprise, I was sent a rejection email a few days later. I firmly believe that the test results had a part to play in it, and I urge the employer to not rely on behavioral tests that can product flawed and non-indicative results.
