Phone interview and then invited to meet with Chief of Staff and CFO. CFO did not join interview. After lengthy discussion with chief of staff was invited to meet with CFO and another c level. Was told assistant would reach out to schedule. At end of interview cos decided to ask personal questions which I informed her were illegal. Sent 2 follow up emails. No response, not even a we've changed our minds.

Three 1:1 interviews. The first interview consisted of two 1 hour interviews with 2 of the administrators. The second interview consisted of a 1:1 with the director of finance. Small company with around 20 employees; they are looking for a good personality fit for their company and are very thorough. They go meticulously through your resume and ask why/how you got each position. The position is looking for a 2 year commitment. Wasn't offered the job because of tje possibility I would go to law school some unidentified time in the future and because they believed I would get over the learning curve too quickly and become bored of the position. They want someone bright but not highly intelligent. They are willing to train and extremely focused on a 2-year or more commitment. They mentioned the possibility of a written test (if blank happened or called, write a memo/email) and an excel test. 40-50K/year and full benefits. Position is strictly 9-5. Good work/life balance/opportunity to go back to school.
