Run away. Absolute waste of time. Started out with recruiter call which was total normal and fine. She said next step was a full final interview which I immediately thought was kind of sketchy. Every where does a tech screen first before doing the resources for a final panel. I went through and took a day off work. The first interviewer was super nice. Second was terrible. 2 very rude performance/available guys gave me a design problem on that and wanted super specific stuff on that even though I am a backend API engineer. Not sure why they interviewed me when I wasn’t interviewing for that team. Next round was code interview. Normal round. Last was manager with a random manager who wouldn’t be my manager. Bizarre and haphazard. All behavioral questions like “tell me a time you made a mistake?” And I have an answer and he was like uh no that’s not really a mistake Is it? That’s just a normal thing engineers do give me a real mistake. Like I’m sorry I’ve been working 6 years I don’t make huge mistakes otherwise I would not be employed. I never heard back it’s been 2 weeks. Absolute waste of time.
