Lengthy and Drawn out…A Waste of MY TIME! This took several weeks for one stage to take place. The person screening me lacked professional decorum. First of all impression is everything, she was inappropriately dressed. She left the Interview multiple time to go investigate the mysterious noises and knocks at her door. At one point; she went and let her giant dog into the room. It was just distracting. After a week I receive an email stating I ticked all the boxes except for being in the same sector; although this is an oxymoron because my CV speaks for itself. If she wanted to target people from the same sector; she should not have wasted both of our time; especially mine as I carried out research and prepared for the Interview. Additionally I informed this person that I did have experience within some globally known FMCG Additionally; it’s very closed minded because HR processes can be carried out and applied across the board so for organisations that just filter candidates because you want to stay in the same sector when you talent search then you’ll never elevate because these individuals that you’re overlooking can bring a different way of thinking to your business so maybe it’s a blessing in disguise. This is especially given the negative reviews left on here by their Employees basically labelling them as a sweat shop.
