Not a good experience:
Applied online, the recruiter asked for my availability for the week after next. Had a call with the hiring manager 2 weeks later, shared my experience and my vision based on the company's project and the direction they wanted to take and the conversation went very well according to the recruiter who got back to me the next day to schedule a follow up video call. I met with a Director and an Assistant Director, one from a technical background and one from Insurance background, I have a Technical certification that was related to this application they are implementing as well as Insurance Certification. The interview went well, and I got an email from the recruiter asking for my availability for a call . I was offered the position and asked about my Salary Expectations - and I told them what I am making and what it would take for the switch. She told me that she will let the recruiting manager know and will get back by end of day. She did not mention End of Which Day, and I am still waiting for the call / email to tell me that it won't work!
It would have been very good if they told me that the numbers wont work / or is this number okay? She was particular about not sharing their $$ range and asked about my range.
Definitely did not expect this type of treatment, after so many email exchanges, calls, video calls with such a reputed firm. If you are someone who is looking at this company, ask for the range in the beginning before wasting your time and theirs.
