Informal sit-down with a Manager in the cafe on-site. Took about 15 minutes. Asked about whether I could perform the duties and answered any questions I had. Did not bring up pay.

Fast and easy. They called me to schedule an interview and then I came in and it was quick. Then afterwards they called and offered me a job. Then when I accepted they were happy

It consisted of me being told how to do the job. They didn't quality check, they just hired. It was like they just needed a warm body behind the register, but that's also what a cashier is viewed as anyway.
