2 stage interview process, with the first stage interview being online. Second stage was held in the Cambridge Office approx 6 weeks later. I was asked to write a 20 minute presentation on "how you would prepare, procure and implement a new category strategy for FM Services ". The interview process wasn't too difficult but I felt it was the correct process for the type of role they were recruiting for. Disappointingly, after hearing nothing back for weeks I chased the HR Recruitment Administrator a couple of time, when I still didn't hear back I escalated and finally got a response saying full feedback would be provided the following week. That was 11 days ago, and I've had no further communication. I still don't know if I have been successful or not (suspect not), but quite frankly their poor communication and lack of respect to unsuccessful candidates speaks volumes about how this organisation treats people.

How would you go about assessing and finalising the potential supplier base for these services?
Who do you consider to be the main stakeholders that would be part of the procurement process?
How would you measure performance of the suppliers?

Thank you for taking time to share your interview experience at Marshall. We are sorry that the feedback hasn’t been in line with our best practice; we will have a full review of the process and candidates interviewed for this role.
2024 has been a transformational year for us and we’ve endeavoured to make the best decisions going into 2025, which means at times we have been slower than we wanted. In some cases we have held off issuing final feedback/ outcomes where we felt a candidate had potential and whilst we were still concluding restructures to understand what was required in a team.
