Literally interviewed me three different times. Then lied directly to my face and said they could not verify my past employment. I knew that was a lie because I called all my references myself and asked if they received any calls from this potential employer. All my references said no but they had received calls from other potential employers. What it boils down to is the lady that runs the store doesn’t want anyone who may know more than she does. She is very unsure of everything and didn’t understand my questions about sales and marketing, which were very basic questions. I guess that’s what you get when you let a sandwich maker run your store for 20 years. It’s not a positive thing that you don’t have employee turnover, it shows you let people with poor management skills become complacent and the cycle of incompetence is never ending.. And know I know why your Catering Dept. is not making any money, your words, not mine.
