1. One of the recruiters advertised for a "Digital Product Manager" role on LinkedIn.
2. I contacted this recruiter and expressed my interest in the role and indeed this recruiter contacted me and we agreed to have a call the next day.
3. In the end of the call, the recruiter asked me to have a video interview after 2 days for which I agreed
4. The recruiter cancelled the video interview before 10 minutes of the agreed time and sent me an email that the role was filled with an internal candidate. I understood that a job might be filled with internal candidates but I couldn't get how a recruiter can know this before 10 minutes of an interview and very early in the morning.
5. The next day, today, the recruiter posts the same job on LinkedIn.
Although I know that I meet the requirements and I understand that the recruiter couldn't see that. But, I don't really get the unprofessional behavior. Cancelling a video interview before 10 minutes and giving a fake excuse.
