Quick response and good communication throughout. It was a 3-step interview, all held over Zoom. The first interview was with the hiring manager and was quick and straightforward. The second interview was with the core team and went very well; interesting conversation. The final interview was with another, related team who seemed disorganized and disengaged. My questions were answered in a few words with limited detail, and one of the interviewers was looking at her phone almost the whole time and kept asking me to repeat myself because she wasn't listening. At one point I was asked to identify the "diverse" characteristics of my prior team, which felt like a very restrictive/tokenizing way to go about that topic. I left the final interview uncomfortable with their lack of engagement and concerned with the limited way they wanted to address important topics in the DEI&B space.
