Deeply unprofessional. My friends that worked there had to follow up after the HR department 'lost' my resume and didn't send it. Despite being rated as the most qualified individual for a job, they didn't hire anyone. The interview itself asked questions completely unnrelated to the job or the qualifications. Despite all of this, i was rated as their most qualified candidate--i received this info due to friends at Mastercard. However the job was not real and nobody was ever hired. Mastercard HR never followed up with me in either direction and left my interview status as open for over a year.

Had a (what I felt was a fantastic) interview with HR. I had researched the product and actually gone through some Mastercard published articles which I spoke through in the interview. I had questions, answered succinctly. The recruiter said I'm a good fit and that the next step would be a chat with the hiring manager. Lo and behold, the dreaded auto rejection email 3 days later. Upon requesting more helpful feedback, I got told that "I said a couple of times that I wanted Mastercard on my CV" so I was rejected for that reason. Beware folks. Your achievements do not count, only how you stroke company egos that count.
