Please heed this review/experience as a warning or caution. I probably dodged a bullet because from what I can tell from the interview experience, it is a very unprofessional & unorganized operation.
*Interview Process*
First came the initial HR call just to understand the candidate & their expectations. Pretty standard & straightforward. They took a lot of time to get back to me because I asked for a greater salary than what their budget was. After a bit of back & forth, they gave a number(which was lower than what I had expected) & asked if I would be okay with it as the salary. I agreed & I was explained that there would be 4 rounds:
1. Assignment
2. Call with the hiring team/manager
3. Call with the founder
4. Final HR round
I completed the assignment & moved to the next round. Which was just a basic technical round & they explained the work they are doing & what their expectation was.
Next, the call with the founder was to assess my values, character, & experience. There were several questions to understanding my creative process & workflow as well.
All went well and I moved to the final HR round, Before this round, I was told this interview was about cultural fit, pay, & date of joining. So I naturally discussed about the benefits & salary. And I learned there are virtually no benefits, they would not help with relocation, no talks about the CTC breakup. So I asked if they could increase my in-hand salary by 7% to which I was told they would discuss it once finalise the CTC. I had a fairly good & positive conversation during this.
BUT two days go by & I receive no communication from their end. So I reached out to them only to be ignored. After a day, I receive a message saying that they would update me today. But again, a few days go by & nothing. Radio silence. I again follow up just to realise that I have been ghosted after almost a month long hiring process. So much time & energy invested just to be met with silence & no feedback at all as to what went wrong. So, please think before you invest time in interviewing here.
