Entrevista
They called me to schedule an appointment to take a math assessment. The test was 50 questions and it took me about 1-2 hours. Expect to take the test in the same room as fellow instructors and students. It took me a while because math is not that fresh in my brain. If you recently graduated university, I would suggest reviewing basic algebra from elementary to high school level. They stopped me in the middle of the test for a quick and casual interview. They emailed me a couple hours after the test and we scheduled the day I start training!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What's the highest level of math you took and how fresh is your knowledge on that subject? I mentioned that I researched their website and they asked me what I gathered about them and their curriculum and teaching philosophy.
Straightforward. Took online math assessment and then came in for an interview that was more of a personality check. Manager was friendly and was offered the job at the end of the interview.

When I interviewed at Mathnasium, I first had a short phone call about my background. Then I went in for a math test and a short interview. They asked how I’d explain problems to students and watched me do a sample tutoring session.
