The interview process started with an initial call to discuss my background and the role. Throughout the process, the communication was clear and the atmosphere was okay. It was okay and timely.

I was given a set of problems to solve which had okay difficulty
The interview process was roughly 5 rounds including a paid practical exercise and the final stage with the CEO. I enjoyed the recruiter I worked with but besides that I only met male employees. The org decided to put the role on hold as they restructured their teams due to a recently hired VP. The funniest part was the CEO asking the same exact interview question as one of the engineers and not realizing it.
The company seems to be pivoting to focus on "mission critical" businesses, which just means they are trying to sell to larger companies and the government. The company champions open-source but that doesn't seem to by much of their DNA anymore.
