Entrevista
I completed several rounds of interviews for a Data Administrator role, including conversations with HR leadership and talent acquisition. The interviewers were professional and respectful, and the initial stages of the process were handled well. I was particularly impressed with the Talent Acquisition Specialist as all communication was swift and professional.
After progressing through multiple interviews , I was formally informed that I had advanced to the final stage. I was asked if i was currently considering other employment opportunities or in discussion with another company as this information will help appropriately plan the next steps in the process. This was the first glaring red flag.
At this point, the process suddenly became significantly delayed. Over the course of 5 weeks, I was told that internal discussions were still ongoing and that scheduling would happen soon. There was suddenly no follow-up and a lack of communication and transparency.
While the recruiter remained polite and apologetic, the lack of concrete updates and repeated delays created prolonged uncertainty. Ultimately, after being reassured that the process was still moving forward, I received an automated system-generated rejection email stating the role had been filled.
Reaching the final stage of a multi-round process requires a significant time commitment from candidates. When timelines shift, transparent and proactive communication is critical. In this case, the extended delays followed by an automated rejection did not reflect a well-coordinated or candidate-focused process.
Overall, while the interviewers were professional, the end of the process felt disorganized and poorly managed. I would recommend improvements in communication, timeline management, and candidate closure practices to provide a more respectful and consistent experience.
My advice to future candidates would be to continue pursuing other opportunities in parallel and to seek clear timelines throughout the process. There are positive people within the organization, but improvements in communication, process ownership, and candidate closure would greatly enhance the overall experience.

3 stages HR-->Hiring Manager-->Panel. The inteview was at the offices close to the airport in Ontario. The process took 6 weeks. Offer was extended a few days later. Pay was below industry standards and the company seemed to be a bit lost despite good intentions.

Interviews were well structured, not rushed, and conducted with a lot of respect and patience. The interviewers heard my point of view and were able to relate to the same and ask questions relevant to the role.
